Latest additions to my Jack collection~~

There are quite a number of new members to my dear Jack Skellington collection over the past months. Mostly a result of the Disney trip followed by my B-day and first payroll from the first "real" job of my life...

Here comes my B-day presents:

Unlike the original Jack figure, this beanny plush is very very ROUND LOL
Actually it is really "deformable", its SO comfortable to hug lor~~^^

This are 3 disney collection pins from my friends (they look better in real life somehow... >_>)
Anyway, the middle saying "I'M NO PRINCE" is so funny XDDDDD
Still looking for a proper place to put them on =_=

Got these two key chains for myself, I REALLY REALLY like the second one shown above!
Its got both Jack and Zero in it (but unfortunately also Sally)...
It is no cheap plastic key chains which they sell a lot in Disney, this one is made of metal and it really feels durable and "classy" (can't find a better word to describe it lol)

Next come the little "treat" I bought for myself in celebration of me getting my first payroll
This is a 500 pieces jigsaw puzzle which I got from a local store. The background has a "sparkle" finish one it. It looks really really good when completed (I finished it in 2-3 nights)

I rarely buy 2 puzzles within a month, but I just couldn't resist for this 1000 pieces mosaic puzzle for Nightmare Before Christmas. I actually bought this from an online store Imaginatorium (a store dedicated to sell Japan jigsaw puzzle). I got my puzzle within a week of the order^^I finished 60-70% of it so far may be a picture of the final produce will be posted soon~~~

Exam... almost finished~~ Disney Time!

Just finished my 4th exam on Friday and my next (last) exam is on the 28th~~
The 10-days gap makes me feel like I'm on vacation already^^

I VERY excited now because from May 5th to 10th, I am going to go to Walt Disney World with my sis and my friends~~ (well even though I just went there last summer, I am still looking forward to the food and I believe going there with friends should be a quite different experience!)

Pop Century Resort

Here is the "over" colourful value resort where we are going to stay~

We will be on a Disney Dining Plan, meaning we each get 1 snack + 1 counter service meal + 1 table service meal per night of stay~ We made dinner reservations already and here is our plan:

Day 1: Kona Cafe

Seems like a good restaurant that has a Mahi Mahi dish (a very funny looking fish from Hawaii~ lol)
<-Mahi Mahi
Apparent one for the fastest-growing carnivorous fish according to wiki~~

Day 2: Liberty Tree Tavern

Family style character dining: Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and Friends

Day 3: Boma

African style buffet~

Day 4: Les Chefs de France

Duck breast! (enough said XD)

Day 5: 1900 Park Fare

Buffet style character dining: Cinderella, Prince "Charm"-"ming", Lady Tremaine, Anastasia and Drizella (lol I just learned the names of the "ugly step sisters" now XDDDDD)

Originally wanted to dining at the Cinderalla's Royal Table (inside Cinderella's castle), too bad we couldn't get a reservation...

Sh** I'm screwed, SOOOO in holiday mood... hopefully I still remember to study for my Digital Electronics exam... lalala~~~^^

"O" MG...

OMG...

Guess what I just discovered when I opened my dear laptop... The "O" key somehow got itself "partially detached"...... It is now connected only by the top edge somehow @@ and the bottom edge is completely free to move >_>

I believe my VAIO warranty period expired ages ago... Should I try bringing it to a service centre... or should I save the trouble and $$ >_> (I have a feeling they going to charge a lot for fixing it) sigh... sigh... sigh... sigh... sigh.......

BTW, just a side note:
According to wikipedia, the letter "O" has the fourth highest frequency in the English Language, after "E", "T", and "A"...
(yes I was bored)

Howl's Moving Castle (Ground Version)

Wow...

I just saw this time-lapse video of this person (Ben·Millett) making the retail version of the Howl's Moving Castle papermodel. I must say I'm impressed XDDDDD

Howl's Moving Castle from Ben Millett on Vimeo.

Apparently this flying version is somewhere like 50x more complicated than the ground version I made... maybe... perhaps... some day I will make an attempt on this......

Cute model~~

It's been a while since I last touched a paper model...

I have seen quite a number of models which I really like but they are seems to be relatively complicated... Thus, given my short attention time span (*cough*) its really hard to get myself started on anything :P

Anyway, this time I worked on a two-page cute anime-style fox girl model. Not exactly sure if it is just a random character design or if it does belong to some anime...

The model can be grabbed from >HERE<
A few other cute models can be found in >HERE<

OMG OMG OMG

I'm in HEAVEN!!!!!

I just got a job offer from the company which I want to work for the most!!!!
There is no need to wait as the official ranking will not be available until the end of March.

I now officially going to work after this school year~~
(which may or may not be a break from hard hard work...)
Well considering the pay rate... guess it should be a pretty challenging work post...

But still I must say I'm impressed by myself (*cough* yes I am^^)
After all those interviews with the different interviewers from the company, they still chose me!
Awwww~~~ Hopefully I won't disappoint anyone when I actually start to work there......

OMG, I'M STILL HIGH~~~

January wave of interviews

CHEER!!!!

Just half an hour ago, I finished my 8th interview~~!
(which is probably also my last one for the jobs I applied)

Well I guess since I'm applying for a year-long internship job through the university's PEY program, I think the interviewers probably went easier on us as compared to regular full-time employee interviews. But still, considering those are the first 8 formal interviews in my life, I already feel really proud of myself already^^

In terms of the interviews, generally they went pretty well. Some focused on asking me technical questions (tons and tons of them), some actually went the old fashion way where they asked questions like "what are your strengths and weaknesses..." (dot dot dot)... Thankfully I was able to answer most of the technical questions (although I completely fried one of my interviews because I couldn't answer one very very VERY easy question...) and I BS'ed through the behavioral questions (*cough*). The interviewers were very nice and they did smile a lot~ I think I have pretty high chance of getting an offer for 3 of the jobs (heehee~~)

Too bad the interview rankings is not available til March 30... I just can't wait to see the results!
